Longitudinally welded steel pipes from 2 1/2" to 4"
These pipes are manufactured using the electric resistance welding (ERW) method (high frequency welding (HFW)). Several production lines exist for this type of pipe. - Pipes for conveying water and gas range from 2 1/2" (21.3 mm outer diameter) to 2" (60.3 mm outer diameter), with wall thicknesses ranging from 1.2 mm to 4 mm, and lengths up to 8 m, according to Egyptian Standard Specifications (EQM) 350/2005, British Standard BS 1387, European Standard EN10255, and American Standard ASTM A53. Metal forms and scaffolding are produced according to European Standard EN39. - Pipes for conveying water range from 1.5" (48.3 mm) to 2" (60.3 mm) outer diameters, with thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 3 mm, and lengths up to 8 m. According to Egyptian Standard Specifications (ESQM) 350/2005, German DIN2439, American ASTM A53, and European Standards EN 39. - Pipes for water transmission with an outer diameter of 3" (88.9 mm) to 4" (114.3 mm), with a thickness of 2.5 mm to 4 mm, and lengths up to 8 meters. In accordance with Egyptian Standard Specifications (ESQM) 350/2005, German DIN2439, British BS 1387, and American ASTM A53. - All pipes are 100% hydraulically tested according to specifications.
Metal structures and lighting poles sector
The Metal Structures Sector manufactures electrical poles for low-voltage and medium-voltage transmission. These poles are protected by galvanizing according to European Standard EN 1461, or by primer for electricity and petroleum companies and others. Two types of poles are produced: 1- Stepped Lighting Poles These poles are manufactured using the conventional welding method for pipes of stepped diameters, using circular steel rings welded inside the produced pole, with stepped joints welded to the outside. These are: Low-voltage poles (150/8, 150/10) -- joints (3", 4", and 6") 350/8, 350/10 -- joints (4", 6", and 8") Medium-voltage poles: suspension, 30-stretch, and 60-stretch -- crossing -- joints (6", 8", and 10") 12-meter and 15-meter lengths, or as per customer request The metal connections required for these poles include cables, etc. 2 - Cold-drawn lighting poles (SWAGED POLES) These poles are manufactured using modern machinery. The company is the only one in the Arab Republic of Egypt that performs cold-drawing, whereby the larger diameter pipe is drawn to match the smaller diameter, and the connections are welded from the outside. * Pole lengths range from 9 meters to 11 meters, or as per customer request. 3 - Greenhouses The greenhouse is manufactured from galvanized pipes and is produced in various shapes, dimensions, and specifications according to customer requirements.
Spiral Welded Pipes 10" - 64" (SAWH)
These steel pipes are produced using the submerged arc welding method, both internally and externally, using two production lines: - 10" (273 mm) diameter pipes: 30" (762 mm) - 10" (273 mm) diameter pipes: 64" (1626 mm) According to American Petroleum Institute specifications: API 5L PSL1 X70 & API 5L PSL2 X60 ** Thickness up to 14 mm & lengths up to 12.25 meters. Pipes for drinking water lines and various industrial purposes according to the following specifications: AWWA C200 – ASTM 252 – ASTM A211 & Egyptian Standard Specifications 601 & 402 • Special specifications requested by the customer can be achieved.
protected pipes
Internally and externally protected pipes are manufactured to extend the service life of the pipes and resist aggression. Zinc-protected pipes for pipes with diameters from 2 1/2" to 4" are hot-dipped in molten zinc baths. This coating is applied both internally and externally for pipes used for water transportation and for lighting poles of various lengths. Technical Specifications: EN – BS – ISO 1461, with a minimum galvanizing layer thickness of 65 microns. - Epoxy and Coal-Protected Pipes: Epoxy protection is applied internally and externally to pipes in accordance with the American Standard AWWA C210.
Longitudinally welded pipes from 2 (60.3 mm) to 8 (219.1 mm)
These steel pipes are produced using the electric resistance welding (ERW) and high frequency welding (HFW) methods, with the following specifications: - Lengths up to 13.5 meters and thicknesses from 3.5 mm to 9.52 mm. - These pipes are used in gas, oil, and drinking water transmission lines. - All pipes are 100% hydraulically tested according to specifications. - Production is carried out in accordance with American Petroleum Institute specifications: API 5L-0136 PSL1 X70 & API 5L-0136 PSL2 X60. The quality of the welds on these pipes is checked using an ultrasonic device installed on the production line. - ULTRA SONIC - American Standard ASTM A53. - And Egyptian Standard Specifications Nos. 350, 402, and 601. The seam weld and the area adjacent to the weld are heat-treated using an on-line heat treatment unit installed directly on the production line to remove internal stresses resulting from the welding process and re-arrange the microstructure of the weld. - Pipes are produced according to any other specifications requested by the customer.
